Review access, demo workspace and the website

Store reviewers can now sign in with a fixed test number; a seeded demo workspace exists; getkonverge.com goes live with the policy pages the app links to.

  • A reserved test phone number with a fixed sign-in code lets Google Play and App Store reviewers exercise the app without receiving SMS. It works for that one number only.
  • A seeded demo workspace, Konverge Demo Ltd, with one live project, milestones, tasks, a punch list, daily logs and contacts.
  • The product domain is getkonverge.com. The app’s privacy, terms, help and sheet links all point here, and Android App Links are verified against it.
  • Website: this site, including the privacy policy that names every subprocessor (Supabase, Google Gemini, Twilio, Firebase, OpenStreetMap, Sentry, Railway, Vercel), the terms, account deletion instructions and the /sheets/:id link target for printed QR codes.

Documents and drawings overhaul

The documents module rebuilt around a files feed with saved views, a company-wide inbox, three-band search, layered PDF export, and offline folder downloads with pin-aware cache eviction.

  • Files feed with lenses: All, Awaiting me, Recent, Mine, Drawings, Unfiled, Folders. The default lens follows your role.
  • Documents inbox: everything waiting on you across projects.
  • Three-band search: exact match on names and numbers, full text inside documents, and a related band that finds documents by meaning.
  • Version compare: two revisions stacked with an opacity slider; markups carry forward when you upload a new revision.
  • Offline: download a sheet or a whole folder including subfolders; a 500 MB cache that never evicts pinned sheets; uploads survive an app restart.
  • Layered PDF export: markups, pins and links as separate layers, single or batch.
  • QR sheet links for printing onto site boards.

Today screen and project hub

A role-adaptive Today screen, the eight-tab project hub with a Gantt schedule and critical path, timesheet approvals, project closeout with signature, and the role-based tool surface.

  • Today: what comes first depends on your job. Field roles land on capture and today’s tasks; project managers on what is awaiting them and the snag loop; directors on the portfolio; quantity surveyors on approvals and cost.
  • Project hub: Overview, Schedule, Team, Site, Financials, Photos, Activity and Documents tabs.
  • Schedule: Gantt with the critical path computed from dependencies, and a dependency editor on each task.
  • Team: clock in and out, timesheet approvals with an inline reject reason, crew schedule.
  • Closeout: practical completion and warranty dates, handover notes, on-screen signature.
  • Tool surface: the bottom bar, quick tools and drawer adapt to role and project context, with per-user pin and hide that can never widen access.
  • Reports: portfolio view with a tested red-amber-green engine.

AI copilot, draft-and-confirm

The Konverge copilot answers project questions with cards and charts and proposes actions as editable drafts that a person confirms; 82 action kinds at launch, now 103.

  • Ask your project: answers come as record lists, stat tiles, mini charts, drawing thumbnails and document cards that open the real screen.
  • Draft and confirm: every action is a proposal in the thread. The confirm card is editable; nothing is saved until you tap Confirm, and the write runs through the same code as the manual screens.
  • Safety tiers: reversible writes, itemised batches for status and money, and red single-item confirmation for deletes.
  • Photo to record: take a photo, tap Ask AI, confirm the drafted snag, note or log.
  • Voice capture (beta): transcripts land in the input for you to read before anything is sent.
  • Assistant dock: a floating orb above the tab bar that opens the same thread as the full screen.
  • Provider: Google Gemini, server-side; no key or prompt in the app.

Push notifications and offline-first field operations

Device-verified push notifications, and a field-operations write queue so daily logs, snags, inspections, notes and photos all capture without signal.

  • Push: task, message and approval notifications verified on device, with deep links into the record.
  • Offline queue: daily logs, inspections, punch lists, field notes and photos queue on the phone and sync when signal returns, with a sync pill in the header: synced, queued, syncing, offline.
  • Photo queue: photos are copied into the app’s own storage immediately, so the evidence survives a deleted gallery original.
  • Smart capture: rapid multi-shot camera, gallery import, GPS and place name resolved while you shoot.

We’re putting Konverge on real sites before we put it on the store. Pilots run six to eight weeks on Android, free, with a permanent founding-customer discount afterwards.
